Allow me to copy Pagan Altar's third album title to describe not only III:Pentecost but the whole discography of Wytch Hazel so far: well, yes, it's Magical and Mythical!!! A must-have for the lovers of 70's hard sound revival. BoneWalker

It's hard to say that this album is the evolutionary pinnacle of heavy metal, but it's also hard to say that it's not.
With the clean vocals, proud organ and near-total lack of thrash, you've got to acknowledge an old-school bent.
Then again, the elements that have inspired every heavy-metal musician and fan since before there was a name for this music are here and polished to perfection.
It bridges generations of sound and taste but also sounds like a band just having a blast.

Though the album versions with Paul Kearns are simply amazing, Hagthorn's vocals here elevate the two tracks into unspeakable heights. This is Solstice at its most epic. Really looking forward to new songs with this line-up, hope it lasts long enough. theearthaflame
